The last few years have mainly centred around caring for my daughter. Like many mums who put work on hold to raise children it was not easy getting back into the flow of work. Work didn't flow. Being a mum flowed but being in the headspace, focus and schedules required to function effectively in business, was not easy. From the time our daughter blessed us with her presence, I was not sleeping through the night. In the evenings I would work and wonder why I could not sleep when in bed. Artificial lights and staring at a computer screen switched off my melatonin. I had a self care deficit. I wasn't making time for the things - that nourish me, enable me to work and make me come alive. A quote given to me by a friend years ago came back to me:

" Do not ask yourself what the world needs, ask yourself what makes you come alive, then let go and do that, because what the world needs is people who come alive"
